Hey Lovely Folks!
Been a minute so I hope you’re all doing well and have fully digested your Thanksgiving meal (still working on mine – haha).
Lots going on in my musical universe, all of it good, and I’ll be sending a more comprehensive newsletter on that very soon.
BUT… first and foremost, I want to make you aware of something I’m particularly excited about which is my upcoming show at The Burren in Davis Square, Somerville on Wednesday, December 21st.
Those of you who follow me on Instagram and Facebook (and if you’re not, please do by clicking here!) are aware of the classic rock covers I’ve been releasing one at a time over the past few weeks and into late December. These are tunes I’ve recorded recently with a bunch of fine musicians and it’s music that I’ve always loved and, frankly, have wanted to perform for a long time. So, I covered some great tunes by some of my favorite rock singers; Freddy Mercury, David Bowie, Robert Plant and Janis Joplin.
The Burren gig is our Classic Rock Holiday Extravaganza 😊 and I will be singing these tunes along with some other great ones by Heart, AC/DC, The Who, Kate Bush, King Crimson and more.
(Yes, AC/DC annnnnd Kate Bush – phew!).
I’ve put together a kick-ass band including my partner in crime Jerry Velona, Screaming Headless Torsos’ guitarist and founder Dave (Fuze) Fiuczynski (worth the price of admission all by himself), savant pianist Utar Artun, and Bass wizard Christian “Yogi” Saint Louis. There will be background singers with the voices of angels (Jessica Curran and Astha Zylah), peace and love 60’s, high energy, holiday vibes and, I hope, you’ll be there!

I know it’s a “school night” but it’s an early ALL AGES show (7-9 PM) and it would mean A LOT to me to see you there. I guarantee you’ll love it and will hear this great music performed with all the love it deserves.
